Bio

Samone T. Norsworthy was born in Savannah, Georgia.  Her love for art began when she started taking art lessons at the age of ten through the City of Savannah Cultural Arts Division.   Samone experiments with different styles and forms of art and draws inspiration for her art from various elements in nature.

Two of Samone's paintings, "Lylith the Lionfish" and "Crabby the Fiddler Crab" will be on exhibit in the Georgia State Capital Executive Offices from May 2018 to November 2018 as part of the Art of Georgia | Celebrating Home Exhibit.

Samone's whimsical interpretations come from a child-like perspective in order to capture the innocence of visual art.  With three children of her own, and having grown up on the coast, Samone has always tried to portray natural settings that are understood by children and appreciated by adults. Until recently, Samone's paintings have been a well-kept family secret and private hobby.

Samone Norsworthy works as a Professor. Samone also enjoys other artistic pursuits such as writing, film, theater, and music.
